Management Team

The management of AREMIS Group is working together for more than 15 years, both in the Computer-Aided Facility Management and in the Occupier Support Services businesses.

 

Xavier Orts

General Manager, Member of the Board

Xavier Orts started his career at DBAssociates in 1993 to develop the activities of software solutions dedicated to the management of general services and corporate real estate. He has contributed to the international expansion of these activities in the Benelux, France, the United States, Luxembourg and Spain. He has particular experience in deploying these solutions on several continents for major international groups.

Managing Director of AOS Aremis within the AOS Studley groupe since 2007, Xavier Orts organized the management buy-out of this activity in 2010 to establish the AREMIS Group.

Réginald Thomas

Director Management Services, Member of the Board

Reginald Thomas founded in 1990 a design office CAO-CAD. He soon collaborated with large companies in the banking and petroleum sector such as Shell, Fina, BBL. He joined DBAssociates to found the graphics department, where he developed a range of services to end users of commercial buildings.

In addition to his European consulting missions, he has setup a graphic design office in Vietnam to achieve key development missions of drawing digitalisation. He has expanded his department with specialists in Space, Move & Facility Management to meet the growing demand for FM outsourcing in today's society.

Patrick Mets

Director Finance & Human Resources

Patrick Mets started his financial management career in the telecommunications sector with British Telecom, Yucom (joint venture between British Telecom and ING bank) and later on Tiscali.

He joined AOS Studley in 2004 as Financial Director. After organizing and coordinating the financial and administrative activities for the entire Benelux for almost 6 years, Patrick joined the management of AOS Aremis to carry out the management buy-out of their activities. His ability to put his financial expertise at the service of operational activities is a major asset for the development of AREMIS.

Bart D'Heer

Director Major Accounts

Bart D'heer started his career in the ICT sector where he soon became one of the precursors on the European market in equipping « Intelligent Buildings » with advanced cabling systems, hardware and software. Recruited by DBAssociates, he developed large Belgian and European accounts to help them optimize their property portfolio and workspace by implementing facility management information systems.

He is currently responsible for major accounts within AREMIS. Bart presents himself as the strategic business partner for the client to cooperate with in order to find the best solution on an operational and a management level.

Axel Tasiaux

Director Sales

Axel Tasiaux began his career as an engineer in water treatment. In 1997 he joined the team « Information Systems » within DBAssociates as a project manager. Subsequently, he developed and monitored this activity in Switzerland and in France for seven years.

Since 2009, is Axel Tasiaux Sales Director. He has extensive experience in business development at international level and has also expertise in the environmental, computer and construction industry and real estate and facility management. Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, he is also professor for postgraduate training in facility management of the Haute Ecole Provinciale de Liège and the IFMA.

Jean Michel Kluft

Director Operations

Jean-Michel Kluft began his career in the medical sector, and continued in the domain of IT management systems. In 1992 he joined DBAssociates and developed the software management activities dedicated to facilities and commercial real estate. Due to DBAssiociates' international growth, Jean-Michel became responsible of the IT department within the group.

For several years, he managed large projects related to facility management optimization (GSKBio, ESA, Natixis, EPO, Axa, ...). He is currently responsible for managing the operational activities within the department "Information Systems".

Bart Timmerman

Director Technologies

Bart Timmerman joined DBAssociates in 2000 and served in various technology management positions. With a Master in Architecture & Engineering as background, he strives to find the match between business needs and technology solutions. He worked on several projects in Belgium and used his experience to pilot several international projects, focusing on constant value creation and quality assurance.

As Director Technologies within AREMIS he is driving the technical directions taken by the « Information Systems » division and acts as liason with the technology partners.
