THE CHALLENGE
Climact is a young, fast-growing consultancy of around 40 employees active in climate change strategy and regulatory consulting. Moving from a generic business centre to their own office space, they wanted an environment that was genuinely theirs — welcoming, calming yet dynamic, and firmly aligned with their ecological mission.
The project had to move fast: Climact had signed their new lease and could not afford double rent. Timelines were tight, the budget was limited, and the brief was clear — design something beautiful, sustainable and truly co-created with the whole team.

APPROACH
AREMIS engaged Climact’s entire team from day one, running co-creation workshops where all 40 employees participated in shaping the layout, atmosphere and identity of their future workplace — down to the choice of room names.

Two structured workshops with all 40 employees — mapping needs by department, visualising the layout, and reaching collective decisions on spaces, zones and identity.

An open-plan layout supplemented with designated areas: collaboration zones, focused work spaces, and phone booths — supporting every working style across the team.

Soothing colours, natural wood, and sourcing of second-hand and recycled materials — aligned with Climact’s ecological mission and budget constraints.

Furniture recovered from the previous office, second-hand sourcing from specialist resellers, and direct procurement by the client team — all coordinated within the project.

A creative approach to a tight budget — using circular design, co-purchasing and client involvement in logistics to deliver quality without overspending.

Weekly project meetings throughout design and construction phases, with a shared action tracker to log all decisions, owners and validations in real time.
DELIVERY
The result was a well-balanced combination of flexibility during project preparation and execution. The new offices feature various zones for collaboration, focused work and phone booths — fully equipped to support comfortable and efficient working.
Sustainability lies at the heart of Climact’s mission. In designing their new workspace, AREMIS prioritised minimising environmental impact — incorporating second-hand materials and furniture wherever possible, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainable practices.
The workspace theme and room names were chosen collectively by the team during the final project phase — a mountain range theme, selected by vote. Even furniture assembly became a shared team moment, with employees gathering after work to build pieces together.
